Damage occurred today at noon on the vessel “POWER JET” in the port of Naxos, as it was making its “maiden” voyage for this season.
The problem occurred in the ship’s catapult, resulting in four ships (Blue Star Delos, WorldChampion Jet, Caldera Vista, Nearchos) waiting in line until they approach the port.
After moving the ship to a different position in the port, the ships and their passengers were able to disembark and resume their itineraries.
The ferry “NAXOS JET” is already underway to Naxos to pick up the passengers of the “POWER JET”.
Due to the specific problem, the departure of the “WorldChampion Jet” from Syros to the port of Piraeus is expected to be delayed by about two hours.
